Amazon Fire TV Setup Guide

Step-by-step instructions for Amazon Fire TV Stick, Firestick 4K, 4K Max, and Fire TV Cube devices.

Step 1

Install the Downloader App

1. From your Fire TV Home screen, select Find → Search.
2. Type Downloader and select the orange Downloader icon by AFTVnews.
3. Tap Get or Download and install the app.
4. Launch Downloader and select Allow when prompted for storage permissions.

Step 2

Enable App Installation Permissions

Depending on your Fire TV OS version, follow the appropriate method below:

For Fire OS 6 and Fire OS 7:
1. Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options.
2. Select Install Unknown Apps.
3. Find Downloader and turn it ON.
For Fire OS 8 (and newer models where Developer Options are hidden):
1. Go to Settings → My Fire TV → About.
2. Highlight the first item (your device name) and click it 7 times consecutively until a popup states: "No need, you are already a developer."
3. Press Back once. You will now see Developer Options.
4. Open Developer Options → Install Unknown Apps and toggle Downloader to ON.
Step 3

Download & Install your Media Player

Open Downloader and enter the direct quick-code or download URL for your chosen player:

  • IPTV Smarters Pro: Enter iptvsmarters.com/smarters.apk
  • TiviMate: Enter tivimate.com or search via Downloader browser.

Once downloaded, click Install, then tap Done.

Step 4

Log in with your Subscription Credentials

1. Launch IPTV Smarters or TiviMate from your apps list.
2. Select Login with Xtream Codes API.
3. Enter your details:

Any Name: 24/7 IPTV
Username: (from your order email)
Password: (from your order email)
Server URL: (from your order email)

4. Tap Add User. The channels, TV guide, and movies will automatically populate on your screen.
