Android TV & Box Setup Guide

Recommended setup instructions for Nvidia Shield, Google TV, Chromecast, and Android streaming devices using TiviMate.

Step 1

Install TiviMate from Google Play Store

Open the Google Play Store on your Android TV or streaming box, search for TiviMate IPTV Player, and install it.

Alternative option: If you prefer IPTV Smarters Pro or Televizo, both are also available directly on the Google Play Store.

Step 2

Add Playlist via Xtream Codes

1. Open TiviMate and click Add Playlist.
2. Select Xtream Codes as the playlist type.
3. Enter your subscription details from your confirmation email:

Server URL: e.g. http://domain.xyz:port (do not add a trailing slash)
Username: your assigned username
Password: your assigned password

4. Tick the option to Include VOD (Video On Demand) if you want films and series enabled.
5. Tap Next to proceed.

Step 3

Synchronize the TV Guide (EPG)

TiviMate will automatically fetch the channel directory and Electronic Programme Guide. Give the initial download 30 to 60 seconds to complete indexing. Once finished, you will see the TV guide grid with programme listings.

Performance Tip

Optimising Stream Buffer Settings

For maximum stream stability on high-frame-rate sports channels:

  • Open TiviMate Settings → Playback.
  • Change Buffer size from Normal to Large (approx 3000ms–5000ms).
  • Ensure hardware video acceleration is enabled.
